Changelog
Every release, what changed, in plain words. Any change to what the app transmits is called out here, always.
The first release — Reverie in your browser
The launch. Reverie's public history starts here.
- Record your whole screen, a window, a tab or just your camera, in Chrome and Edge, with camera and microphone — unlimited length and unlimited takes on every plan.
- A free trial of everything: every feature for 14 days or 1 GB of downloads, with a small Reverie mark on what you make.
- Recorded, edited and encoded in your browser. No video is ever processed on our servers.
- On Quick and Studio, every take goes to your Collection with a reverie.video link you can keep private, protect with a password, or delete.
- Trim, layouts, backdrops, camera shapes and zooms, with exports to MP4 and WebM.
- Quick at $8 a month, or $72 a year: no watermark, share links, 50 GB of space and up to 1440p at 60fps.
- Studio at $15 a month, or $120 a year, for creators: everything in Quick plus zooms, every effect, joined clips, GIFs and 150 GB of space.
- No telemetry. Reverie sends us nothing about how you use it; the free trial only counts how many bytes you download.
Earlier versions were development builds and were never released.
